Humdrum!? That old thing is deceptively fast. 60 in about 5 seconds! (that’s mine up above )

But yeah, even the normal C and E classes used the single wiper up until the end of the 202 and 210 chassis circa ‘00.

Oh man. I didn’t mean to call your car humdrum. In a thread of Venturi, Pagani, Mclaren F1 and Subaru Vortex, these seem positively pedestrian!

Very cool. The one I saw on the road seemed to have amazing windscreen coverage.

The cam mechanism is super cool and probably has better coverage than a lit if dual wiper systems. Biggest downside is probably noise, they’re not terribly quiet.

No kidding! But to be fair, when the mechanism is new it is a lot quieter. Most of them are 15+ years old now.
